History
Botswana Funeral Services Group (Proprietary) Limited (a Company registered in South Africa) has been operating since April 2015 under the Bafa Funerals brand. All the shares in the company were acquired by FSG Limited in December 2014
BFSG (Pty) Ltd is one of the subsidiaries of FSG Limited (“the Group”). FSG Limited is a public limited company listed on Botswana Stock Exchange and was incorporated in Botswana in 2003. The Group has business interests in Botswana, Zambia, South Africa, and is actively exploring other regional markets.
In South Africa the company has a wide range of products on offer to customers ranging from various funeral insurance schemes, varieties of tombstones, grave covers, coffins and caskets, ash urns and wreaths. Our funeral cash plans are administered by Riskfin Funeral Administrators and underwritten by Assupol. We also provide the following services: 24-hour mortuary services, repatriation, cremation, transportation, professional embalming, and exhumation.
Currently, BFSG operates 10 funeral homes under the Bafa funeral brand. The branches are at Tlhabane, Modimolle, Mookgophong, Bela-Bela, Mokopane, Brits,Bethanie, Mogwase, Madikwe, Rustenburg and Hammanskraal. The company has a staff complement of over 70 employees, and conducts on average, 100 funerals per month across the Northwest and Limpopo province.

Board of Directors
The following are the Directors of the BFSG (Pty) Ltd:
Milivoje Nikolic – Group Managing director (Executive);
Vijayan Narayanan – (Executive).
The Board is responsible for establishing strategies, effective decision-making, establishing internal controls and procedures, performance evaluation and effective reporting. The executive directors are responsible for day-to-day management.
The Board meets every quarter and monitors the executive management and retains full and effective control over the company.
